An entry after a year long… and a very positive entry I think.

Edujini announces launching and sponsoring the project DWT - Dojo on Google Web Toolkit.

Check out this posting at Eduzine.

I quote:

To take the development experience with Dojo Toolkit on to the next level using Google Web Toolkit, Edujini™ Labs plans to port Dojo Toolkit for GWT.

The project would soon be hosted at SourceForge under both GPL v2/3 and commercial license. We have sought for the project name “DWT” (applied under APT process, and may take 2-3 weeks for complete takeover).

So, ready to unleash the power of Java and JavaScript?

Hi,

Sometime funny things happen, let me share a little incident with you….

Yesterday, in our office, we were having a discussion on static variables (about it’s scopes & limitations). It was a general discussion which happens very often here.
We all were taking part on it….

….and this conversation became very hot after sometime, I noticed every one of us were just talking and no one was listening.

So I decided it’s better to be quiet and listen to every buddy. You know what I noticed… after listening to them… every one was just describing and defending different points on the topic…without caring about if any-buddy was contradicting there points or not, or even listening. Definitely they all were absolutely correct, but…isn’t it funny…. all of us were talking talking n talking and no one was listening….

It was really one of the funniest days of my life. :))

Anyway conversation ended up with a smile on each face. :)

hi friends,
Have u ever created multimedia player… If no, begin from here…
I have very interesting experience…
I was working, oh sorry…, still working since 2 week on creating media player using the great JMF(java media framework) from sun. I started working on linux… JMF says it supports almost all media formats. but in linux the case is different… it doesnt support many common formats, might be b’coz of some codec. So I switched to windows. now it start working… but, my pgm is not working… so I took an already working pgm(previously tried) n tried… the output is, still error. U know y? Cos it cannot fetch its playerEngine!!! So I stuck here… but thing is that its quite challengin… More over JMF is a very good package for media processing. So I determined to complete it successfully…

And the very funny thing is wen v switched to windows, the very moment v install windows, system got affected by virus. The entire registry got pblm… Quite interesting right!!!

If u want to know more about JMF, go through this link…

Anyway I wl b back with the success story of mediaplayer….

bye…
